NSW: Survey for International Students

We invite you to promote the following survey to your international students who are over 16 yo.

Are you on a student visa, aged 16 years or older and studying in Sydney? We want to hear your thoughts and experiences of sexual and reproductive health information and services by participating in a survey (available in several languages which involves completing a 15 minute online survey.

Please click the link to access the online survey in your preferred language: English, Nepali, Bahasa, Traditional Chineseand Simplified Chinese.

All personal information provided will remain anonymous and confidential.

Please also feel free to share this post or the attached flier on your wall, or with other international students who may be interested in participating.

This study has been approved by the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Human Research Ethics Committee HREC reference number: 19/007. The survey will be open from 4 April until 1 May 2019.

NSW: City of Sydney’s Lord Mayor’s Welcome for International Students – 11 April 2019

Newly arrived international students are invited to the City of Sydney’s Lord Mayor’s Welcome for International Students on 11 April 2019. This is a special annual event hosted by Lord Mayor Clover Moore to welcome newly arrived international students and celebrate their contributions to the cultural life and diversity of Sydney.

Each year, about 1,000 international students gather at Sydney Town Hall to connect with their fellow students, cultures and essential services in Sydney.

Many of you have been very involved with the event in the past to help promote social inclusion, safety and wellbeing, and introduce students to local Aboriginal cultures and inspiring guest speakers.

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to invite your newly arrived international students to come join us. Tickets are free and limited and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. The event and booking details are:
