Acknowledgements…….

Individuals

Alison Fairleigh (Queensland) Who took the brief to produce a comprehensive template of suggested best-practice approaches to an international student handbook and incorporated the best of publicly available information from institutions, combined with her own extensive experience along with the suggestions and experiences of the Project Manager, and collated the huge body of information required to produce the first draft of this document.

Desma Smith (Project Manager) for expertise, input and guidance to the first draft, collaboration with Alison to produce the second draft and birth of “The Rainbow Guide”, then adding further refinements.

Sharon Smith (ISANA - Victoria) who provided expertise, hours of proof reading, further input and worked tirelessly with Desma to finish off the final version.

ISANA Council Members and ISANA members who provided feedback, expertise and advice on the first draft to help form the final version: Felicity Fallon (President), Melanie Duncan, Kate Smart, Paula Dunstan, Liz Wright, Sylvia Lewohl, Benjamin Hooper, Nimi Ashok, Jayne Parsons, Hedley Reburger.

Metropolitan Fire Brigade

The Project Manager would like to acknowledge the enthusiastic and comprehensive input and support of Commander Frank Stockton and Marc Florey of the Community Education Unit of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (Victoria), and Commander Stockton for taking this initiative to the Fire Services Peak Body AFAC to provide a National approach to their input.
