Five new Research Snapshots released
AEI has released five new Research. Snapshots 30 to 34, discuss the recently released 2007 annual data for the four main international education sectors: higher education, vocational and technical education, ELICOS and schools.  Snapshot 34 discusses the recently released 2006-07 ABS data on the value of international education to the Australian economy.

The Australian International Education Conference 2008 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 7 to 10 October 2008.

Call for Sessions Now Open

The theme this year, Global Citizens, Global Impact, will focus on outcomes of international education. Individuals and organisations are invited to submit proposals for sessions at this year's conference. Call for sessions closes at the end of April. ISANA/DEEWR Consumer Protection Project is asking for your input Print E-mail

For all ISANA members ... your urgent attention and feedback is requested. ISANA expertise has been called upon to produce a set of videos to raise the awareness of international students, agents, parents and others on Consumer Protection issues.

Information is required to guide the content for the videos in the ISANA/DEEWR Consumer Protection project which aims to help international students to fully understand their rights and their responsibilities throughout the WHOLE process of becoming and being a student of the Australian education system.

New Vice President (Professional Development) to the ISANA National Council Print E-mail

There is a new member of the ISANA Council. Cassandra Colvin has accepted the position of Vice President (Professional Development).

Cassandra is the Co-ordinator, International Student Support, at Edith Cowan University. In 2006, she received an ISANA Award which recognised the excellence of her work with international students.

We welcome her to this position and look forward to the contribution that she will make to ISANA in this position.
