International students have the same workplace rights as all other workers in Australia.

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) is the Australian workplace regulator. It helps employees and employers understand their rights and responsibilities under Australian workplace laws, and works with you to resolve workplace issues.

The FWO’s services are FREE to all employees and employers in Australia, including international students.

The webinar will cover topics including:
• the role of the FWO
• basic workplace rights and entitlements, such as minimum wages and the difference between full-time, part-time and casual employment
• common workplace issues, including unpaid work and the gig economy; and
• the FWO’s free tools and resources.
