Di Macleod is a daughter, mother and grandmother who has worked in the area of gender based violence for nearly 40 years. Her diverse roles have included care provider; refuge worker; sexual violence counsellor; advocate; educator and service manager.

Di is the founder and current Director of the Gold Coast Centre Against Sexual Violence Inc., Board Member of the Ending Violence Against Women Queensland (EVAWQ) and Secretary of the Red Rose Foundation.

Di recognises the importance of access to trauma informed support and safety for victim/survivors and is committed to ending all forms of gender based violence.
